ONCE again manager Paul Ince was left to hail the display of centre forward Jason Roberts.
After an excellent display in the 3-2 win over Everton on the opening day of the season, the Rovers striker put in another man-of-the-match showing against Hull City on Saturday, much to the delight of Ince.
"In the last two games he's been brilliant," raved Ince. "Against Everton he was different class.
"I said to him before the game you've got standards and you've got to keep those standards going and he certainly did that.
"He deserved his goal and he could have had one or two more. It is pleasing he's playing with a lot of confidence."
